Pair of Mid-Century Chrome Biomorphic Kidney-Form Drinks Tables

$2,800.00

A sculptural and dramatic pair of Mid-Century Modern kidney-form biomorphic side or drinks tables in the style of Karl Springer or Milo Baughman. Each table has a low-profile pedestal kidney/heart-shaped form and concave notch, creating a yin-yang effect with the two tables. Continuous flat sides, softened edges, and an organic form give the tables a unique composition to an otherwise modern piece. The older powder-coated surface gives off a soft silvery chrome like reflectivity that plays beautifully in light. The tables have a minimalist Mid-Century Modern and Postmodern style in an organic biomorphic form suits them for a variety of interiors, and can be used as side tables, drinks tables, occasional tables, or flanking accent pieces. The finish has an indentation on one top edge and an aged patina as seen in photos. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Sold as a pair.
