Dakota Jackson Art Deco Style Cuba Sofa in Bronze and Leather

$9,800.00

A bold and rare 1990s Dakota Jackson "Cuba" sofa finished in tailored green leather upholstery and a dramatic bronze base. The design is executed in an Art Deco style with Postmodern influence, featuring clean lines, broad sloped arms, and a low profile with arched sides. The thick plinth patinated bronze base of the sofa is continuously molded throughout with a deeply worked geometric angular chevron patterning giving a distinct Art Deco flair. The sofa itself is finished in a rich deep forest or hunter green leather with a semi-matte finish, giving an organic aspect to the piece. The generously thick seat cushions and padded three-panel back ensure comfort. The sofa is suited for a variety of settings, ideal for a living room, library, or office setting. Arms measure approximately 24" high. The sofa has a desirable aged patina on the finish commensurate age and use as seen in photos. The frame is sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
