A substantial wrought iron and oval glass-top dining or center table crafted in a stately Baroque style by California artisans at Formations, Hollywood, CA. The square iron base is constructed with four dramatic hand-turned thick baluster legs joined by immense X-form stretchers having quatrefoil-accented edges on the top and bottom. The frame is supported by squared plinth blocks and stout bun feet. The polished iron is simultaneously brightly polished and darkly patinated, resulting in a rich, pewter-like patina. A thick and generously-sized oval glass top floats above the ironwork frame, allowing the frame to be viewed from any perspective. Crafted in a unique blend of modernized Baroque and Neoclassical styles, the table is well-suited for use as a center table, dining table, garden, patio, terrace, or poolside. The table is sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The table is in exceptional condition with a rich intentionally aged patina and luster. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
