A handsome large Country French Provincial style farmhouse trestle dining table measuring nearly 7 feet long. The table features a substantial 1.5" thick solid oak plank top constructed from planks showcasing beautiful radiant wood grain movement in a glossy honey-tone finish. The three plank top is crafted with clipped corners, breadboard ends, and visible wood pegged joinery. The top is supported by a large trestle base comprised of two pairs of beautifully crafted turned baluster column legs rising out of stepped plinth supports and elegantly scrolled shaped feet. The trestle legs are connected by a long stretcher with visible wood peg joinery. Crafted in a rustic French Provincial country farmhouse style, the oak table is well suited for a variety of classical, country, and contemporary spaces. The table is heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The finish has a desirable authentic aged patina and distinctive European profile. The table has ample leg clearance measuring 27" inches from the floor to the apron.
