The table features a large oak plank top measuring 2.25" thick with scalloped demilune ends. The curved out ends give the diners at each end more clearance and legroom. The top rests on a pair of substantial baluster-form trestle support legs, crafted in an elegant hourglass form and raised on dramatically carved stepped shoe feet. The trestle supports are joined by a long through-stretcher, locked in place with wood-key exposed joinery. The oak has a warm honey-amber tone with an authentically aged patinated finish showcasing beautiful natural woodgrains and knots. The table has a distinct and impressive profile crafted in a rustic country farmhouse French Provincial style. The table has a clearance from floor to apron of 27.25" inches for ample leg room. The piece is very heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a very true and flat top.
