Imposing set of eight baroque style hand-carved dining chairs designed by Ralph Lauren for Henredon. The chairs are crafted from fruitwood and maple. The set consists of six side chairs and two host armchairs measuring 25.5 inches wide. The frames have generous seats with large, flat square backs topped with a heraldic crest. The seats are supported by gorgeous baroque style barley twist legs and stretchers. The fruitwood has a warm, rich finish constructed with wood peg joinery. The bespoke chairs are upholstered with a tapestry style fabric having a dramatic floral foliate scrolling design with subtle pale greens and blues over a natural organic cream ground. The chairs are strong and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of eight.
