Rare pair of woven wicker white armchairs made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire. The chairs feature a rattan frame with a square back and wide, flat arms. The arms have an open lattice style woven design on the sides. The seat has a fitted, loose seat cushion in the original light blue and white striped outdoor fabric. The legs are enclosed on three sides with a woven wicker apron and end with ball feet. Amazing profile with strong, solid joinery and a desirable aged patina on the painted wicker finish that compliments the coastal aesthetic. Sold as a pair from an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. McGuire plaques on bottoms of chairs.
