Country Italian Colorado club chair or armchair designed by Ralph Lauren. The frame has a distinctive square back and rounded arms accented by patinated brass tack nail heads. The chair is upholstered with a bespoke vegan suede leather fabric in a rich, dramatic black tone. The frame is mounted to a maple plinth base with a rich, dark finish. The chair is heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The style is reminiscent of 1940s French art deco club chairs with its simple, clean design. Individually produced, bench made chair produced in Italy for Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren label under seat. Arms measure 25.5 inches high.
