A stylish pair of Italian Art Deco style leather lounge armchairs crafted in the style of mid-century Italian furniture houses such as B&B Italia and Cassina. The chairs feature a striking cherry crimson red leather upholstery across the entire seat, back, and arms. Each is crafted with a tight back cushion, boxy arms, and a deep seat with a thick cushion. The result is a crisp and modern silhouette with clean lines inspired by similar creations by Mario Bellini. The chairs are raised on slender, tapered, and squared legs finished in a soft grey tone, providing a sharp contrast with the vivid red seats. The frames are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The pair is well suited for a variety of interiors as dining chairs, desk chairs, or side accent chairs. The chairs are unattributed but are crafted similarly to Mario Bellini for B&B Italia's 2001 "Vol au Vent" chair. The arms of the chairs measure 25" tall.
