Pair of A. Rudin 619 Modern Ebonized Ming Style Lounge Chairs
$6,800.00
An exceptional pair of "No. 619" mint white upholstered Ming style lounge chairs made by A. Rudin, Los Angeles, CA. The chairs feature a gently curved barrel-back with large block-form flat arms descending downwards gracefully into the platform base, creating a low and grounded profile. Each chair sits on an ebonized alder wood platform base with a continuous apron and splayed Ming-inspired feet, giving the chairs a Chinoiserie-tinged character. The upholstery is tightly woven in a subtle mint bone-colored cotton-linen blend fabric with a finely slubbed material, accented with neat welt piping along the seams. The loose square seat cushions provide a deep and comfortable sit. Each chair retains the A. Rudin woven label to the underside of the seat deck. Crafted in a clean modern style with a subtle Chinoiserie accent, the chairs are well suited for a variety of spaces. Arms of chairs measure 22" tall. The chairs are solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The fabric shows well and is very presentable with light scuffs that are difficult to see. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
