Grand French Louis XVI Style Mahogany Demilune Console Server


Grand mid 20th century French mahogany demi-lune console table or server crafted in the neoclassical Louis XVI taste. The table features a large rounded top over 5 feet long showcasing the radiant mahogany woodgrains. The top has an ogee edge with a thick frieze centered by three hidden storage drawers and decorative carved acanthus. Supported by long tapered and fluted legs. The legs are conjoined by gracefully curved stretchers centered by an urn with a large floral spray. Sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The versatile table is tall and could serve as console, sofa table, or server. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong solid joinery. Age appropriate wear and fading with very minor scuffs and light scratches on top which are difficult to see. Very good condition with a small repair on top corner.
