Iconic brushed steel and patinated bronze clad writing table, desk, or console made in the manner and style of John Vesey (American 1924-1992). The desk is fronted by two storage drawers with bronze pulls constructed in the grand French neoclassical Louis XVI style. The top of the case has a fitted black leather writing surface with decorative gilt borders. The case is supported by elegant tapered legs ending with bronze sabots. The narrow size allows it to be used as a console. Very impressive profile with strong, solid joinery. The steel and bronze have a desirable aged patina and finish.
