John Vesey Style Steel Bronze Neoclassical Console Desk

Iconic brushed steel and patinated bronze clad writing table, desk, or console made in the manner and style of John Vesey (American 1924-1992). The desk is fronted by two storage drawers with bronze pulls constructed in the grand French neoclassical Louis XVI style. The top of the case has a fitted black leather writing surface with decorative gilt borders. The case is supported by elegant tapered legs ending with bronze sabots. The narrow size allows it to be used as a console. Very impressive profile with strong, solid joinery. The steel and bronze have a desirable aged patina and finish.
