Dramatic pair of bamboo demi-lune console tables made in the Chinese Chippendale style. The tables feature intricate open fretwork designs that slightly vary on each table. Each table has a black ebonized lacquered top with a split bamboo edge. The bamboo legs are lashed together with wicker and conjoined on the bottoms with box stretchers. The bases are constructed from delicate pieces of bamboo and have a rich dark tortoise colored finish. Sold as a pair from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
