Distinctive early 20th century arts and crafts period console or center table hand-crafted from rattan and wicker. The table was produced in San Francisco, CA by Blindcraft. The company was started in 1902 by Josephine Rowan and organized by women to benefit the blind. Versatile piece that could serve as a small desk or display in an entry measuring 26.5 inches from the floor to the apron. The rattan frame is covered with wicker having gracefully curved leg arches and stretchers. The top has a smooth wood writing surface with a natural aged patina and finish that leads to its character and charm. Original makers label on bottom with an interesting history from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
