Pair of Jean Royere Style Croisillon Lacquered Iron Lounge Chairs

$15,000.00

Fantastic pair of rare mid-century modern style lacquered iron lounge or club chairs after Jean Royere's Croisillon chairs. The iconic pair feature an iron frame with a curved lattice back and arms crafted from wavy metal tube. The frame has a square back and curved arms measuring 24.5 inches high. The generous seats have fitted loose seat cushions and are very deep and comfortable. The chairs are supported by straight, round legs ending with whimsical ball finials. The iron has a thick, semi-gloss white finish. Very heavy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The vintage soft fabric shows well and is very presentable as seen in photos. Sold as a pair. The Croisillon chairs are still being produced by Maison Royere in France and have also been made by Baker Milling Road in the 1990's
