Dramatic lacquer ebonized round dining or center table designed by Ralph Lauren. Known as the "Basalt" center table constructed from mahogany with a thick top having a subtle concentric circle around the border. The top is supported by a gracefully curved four leg pedestal ending with an x form stepped plinth base. The table is heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The design has a classic profile with clean modern lines. The table has a Ralph Lauren plaque on bottom.
