Fantastic mid-century Scandinavian modern pottery floor lamp made in the manner and style of Mobach, Netherlands. The lamp features an impressive tall, bulbous column having a rich, glazed finish in earth tone shades with a hobnail texture. The column is made from stacked gourd like sections mounted to a round walnut plinth. The lamp is topped with a large contemporary black barrel shade measuring 24.5 inches in diameter. The lamp measures 13 inches wide without the shade. The floor lamp is from a Samantha Todhunter design installation in an important 1916 Julia Morgan designed mansion located in Presidio Heights, San Francisco, CA.
