Gorgeous lacquer painted wall mirror featuring a thick relief carved frame with parcel gilt trim. Made in the neoclassical taste with an inner band of carved walnut motif leaves in gilt. The frame has an intentionally aged, distressed patina on the finish to mimic age. The mirror has a high quality glass with a thick beveled edge. Mounting hardware on the reverse allows mirror to be hung vertically or horizontally. Would also make a fine mantle mirror. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
