Baroque Style Gilt Lacquered Mirror by Stephen Cavallo

Extraordinary baroque style mirror designed by Stephen Cavallo for Mirror Fair New York, New York. The mirror features an intentionally aged and heavily distressed gilt lacquer finish to mimic an 18th century period piece. The frame has faint remnants of old decoration in black around the border. The glass has a weathered appearance with losses to appear as an old silvered mirror with spotting and distress that Mirror Fair is known for. Very solid and heavy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Makers label on verso. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
