The piece features a circular top elaborately hand-carved with concentric floral bands, scrolling vines, leafy tendrils, and a central botanical medallion, blending Mughal-inspired decoration and the compact form of a Moorish side table. The octagonal base is composed of eight hinged and carved panels, each decorated with pierced foliate openwork of leaves, vines, and scrolling botanicals. The warm reddish-brown hardwood, likely teak, has a dry and aged patina. The decorative piece is well-suited for use as a side table, drinks or tea table, occasional table, accent table, or decorative stand.
