A striking Ralph Lauren rectangular dining table featuring a thick black lacquered mahogany top set on a tubular steel trestle base polished with a dramatic chrome like finish. The design is defined by the contrast of the inky, lacquer surface floating above a bright, chrome framework executed in a distinctive triple-rod motif. U-shaped legs and parallel tube stretchers provide visual rhythm and structural stability. Signed to the underside with a Ralph Lauren metal plaque. The design is similar to the iconic Hudson St. lounge chair from Lauren's Hudson collection. Clean lines and streamlined monochromatic design inspired by Art Deco bring a strong visual symmetry to the table. Small glides at contact points below supports. The steel rods are thick with a luxurious finish. The desk could serve as a chic desk or display table. The top of the table measures 1" thick with a 28.25" clearance below.
