Gorgeous late 19th century French farmhouse table crafted from fruitwood. This style of table was a workhorse in the French kitchen serving several jobs. The table features a plank top with breadboard ends. The frieze is fitted with two storage drawers, one on the side and one on the end. The drawers have patinated brass pulls and plates. Constructed with wood peg joinery the table has a beautiful warm honey toned finish showcasing the amazing woodgrain patterns. The table is supported by whimsical turned fluted legs in the Louis Philippe taste ending with ball feet. The table measures 21 inches from the floor to the apron in front and sides and 22.5 inches from the floor in the rear. The table has a pull out cutting board on one end.
