Set of Eight Dennis and Leen Neoclassical Style Painted Armchairs
$12,000.00
Opulent set of eight bespoke dining armchairs crafted by Dennis and Leen Hollywood, CA. The chairs feature large beech wood carved frames with a concave square back having decorative brass finials on each corner. The square back has gracefully curved arms conjoining to a generous seat upholstered with a geometric star patterned fabric. The molded frames have an intentionally aged distressed, painted patina on the finish with dramatic parcel gilt accents throughout. The chairs are designed in the neoclassical taste after Greco-Roman klismos chairs with saber legs. The arms measure 26 inches high and end with scrolls. Very sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Distinctive profile and a gorgeous aged finish hand-painted by California artisans. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
