Dramatic set of eight Barbara Barry for Baker attributed dining chairs featuring Barry's iconic oval x-back. Constructed from beech hardwood with a dark near ebony finish the generous seat and round back showcase a gilt brocade style fabric with an intentionally aged look. The amazing fabric has a rope border welt with a whimsical frayed design. The x-back has a faux suede cut velvet fabric that highlights the x forms. Beautifully crafted bespoke chairs that are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of eight.
