Distinctive Italian club chair or lounge chair designed by Ralph Lauren. The "Raymond" club chair features a large, deep hardwood frame that is individually bench made by Italian artisans and finished in the United States by Theodore Alexander. The frame is upholstered with a tightly padded fabric in a white tone with a geometric ribbed, striped design. The chair has wide flat arms measuring 25 inches high and is very comfortable. The seat has a fitted loose seat cushion that tethers to the frame and includes a matching throw pillow. The chair is supported by dark maple block feet. Good condition given age and use with minor light stains as expected on edges. Original order tag and makers label under seat cushions. Handsome modern style inspired by Jean-Michel Frank.
