Impressive set of three mid-century modern marble pedestal stands crafted from Italian Verdi Alpi having a deep green brecciated finish. The pedestals have a square form constructed from flat, solid slabs of marble. The set consists of two matching pedestals measuring 18 inches deep and wide, and one larger pedestal that is rectangular measuring 24 by 18 inches. All three pedestals measure 41.5 inches high. The marble has a fine, honed finish and expertly hand cut corners. The deep green background is embellished with striking white veins and movement. The veins appear like modern abstract art and beautifully color the architectural shaped plinths. From an estate in San Francisco, California. Sold as a set of three.
