Set of Six Michael Taylor for Baker Dining Chairs with Bouclé


Iconic mid-century modern lacquered set of six dining chairs designed by Michael Taylor for Baker. The set features newly upholstered seat cushions in a fabulous white bouclé. The set consists of four dining chairs and two host armchairs. The side chairs measure 22 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The armchairs measure 24 inches wide and 22 inches deep. The chairs showcase Michael Taylor's famous interlocking rings with gilt accents on the back splat. The generous seats have gracefully curved arms in an Asian aesthetic. The frames have the original ebonized finish in a dramatic black lacquer. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery. Age appropriate wear with faint chips, minor scratches, and indentations on finish that are difficult to see. Newly upholstered seats as seen in photos.
