Classic set of six French Louis XVI style painted dining chairs having a distinctive square back. The set features a painted finish with an intentionally aged, weathered patina. The beech frames have been reupholstered in the past with a grey flannel style fabric having a double welt border. The chairs have a neoclassical silhouette with crisp modern elements. The seat has a carved rosettes on the corners supported by fluted legs ending with toupie feet. Solid and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
