A refined set of six 19th century English Willian IV dining chairs comprising of two armchairs and four side chairs. The chairs are constructed from Fruitwood with a gorgeous warm honey tone and aged patina. The design features a gracefully curved backrest and back rail. The legs are turned in the front with swept rear saber legs. The thick tailored upholstery is finished in a vivid meandering geometric Greek key pattern woven in a dark charcoal back and ivory, offering a crisp modern contrast to the warm wood tone. The armchairs feature handsome scrolling arms with shaped supports. The silhouettes are reminiscent of 19th Century English Regency or French Provincial style designs, making the chairs suitable for a variety of interiors. The armchairs measure approximately 22.5" wide, 22" deep, 34" high, and a seat height of 20". The side chairs measure approximately 20" wide, 20" deep, 34" high, and have a seat height of 19". The chairs are sturdy with solid joinery. The wood has a desirable weathered patina commensurate age and use with old repairs as expected. Sold as a set of six chairs.
