Rare Mid-Century Modern set of six dining chairs designed by Eliel Saarinen for Johnson Furniture Co. The set consists of four side chairs, and two rare barrel-back chairs measuring 23 inches wide x 30 inches high. The barrel chairs have a distinctive style with a flared top rail. Constructed from blonde birch frames upholstered with a faux leather naugahyde having button-down seams. The side chairs have an H-shaped back splat with a flared back. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
