Extraordinary set of four well-preserved rare McGuire barrel back dining chairs or arm chairs featuring one of McGuire's most sought after designs. The classic chairs have a gracefully curved bent rattan frame with an open fretwork design of criss-cross pencil reed inset into the back and sides. The rattan is lashed together with cream toned leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The seats are fitted with new loose seat cushions with tie backs in an Irish linen ecru upholstery. Arm height 28".
