Set of Four Louis XVI Gustavian Style Painted Dining Armchairs

Charming set of four French dining armchairs made in the grand Louis XVI taste. Crafted from beech and featuring a Swedish Gustavian style white painted finish with a desirable aged, distressed patina. The carved frames have excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a floral crest and seat apron and rosettes on the front corners. The generous seats have padded arms measuring 26 inches high and the seats are upholstered with a lovely muslin style fabric having a double welt border in a warm neutral beige tone.
