Set of Four 19th Century Primitive Swedish Folk Art Pine Chairs


Rustic set of four 19th century primitive country Swedish hand-carved folk art farmhouse chairs crafted from pine. The set features a well-worn and weathered patina with a gracefully shaped back reminiscent of a Gustavian mora clock form. The thick, square plank seat is supported by splayed and turned legs. The folk art chairs have loose joinery and old repairs as expected making them adequate for display purposes. Sold as a set of four. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
