Set of Eight Steve Leonard for Brayton Leather Dining Chairs

$12,000.00

Amazing and rare set of eight high-back sculptural leather dining armchairs designed in the 20th century by Steve Leonard for Paul Brayton designs. The iconic chairs known as "Ribbon" chairs of "Star Trek" chairs feature a large metal frame covered with foam and wrapped with leather fitted like a fine Italian suit. The metal frames have a perfect amount of soft support for an incredibly comfortable, ergonomic ride. The chairs are solid and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Very good, well-preserved condition with an avant-garde silhouette, and soft grey-toned leather. The arms and legs are merged together into a single form. Very unique and dramatic. Sold as a set of eight.
