Regency Style Faux Bamboo Painted Tole Tray Table

Impressive Regency style painted tole tray inset in a black lacquered faux bamboo stand. The English tole tray is decorated with birds, flowers, and a butterfly with a double foliate border. The paint has a lovely craquelure finish and the tray has handles on each end. The later stand has gilt highlights and the legs are conjoined by an X-shaped stretcher. The tray fits into the recessed stand for an even appearance.
