An elegant pair of open étagères or bookshelves constructed out of iron and hardwood by Oly Studio, San Francisco, California. The iron frame is constructed with welded iron and features a dramatic gilt finish with ebonized hardwood shelves. The gilt finish is luxurious having an antiqued patina with a rich mottled effect, creating a crisp contrast with the dark ebonized hardwood shelves. Each wood shelf is recessed into the frame and secured from the bottom. The shelves are crafted in a glamorous modern Hollywood Regency style, suitable for a variety of spaces. The feet are finished with adjustable leveling glides. The shelves are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship with an intentionally distressed patina. Sold as a pair. Makers plaque on bottom of shelves.
