A handsome early 20th century French Art Nouveau period bistro tabletop Patisserie Pastry Shelf Display Stand, baker's rack, or étagère in patinated bronze, glass and marble. The Parisian display shelf features two glass adjustable shelves with brass gallery rails. The shelves are supported by slender uprights rising from a Parian Greek marble plinth having a horizontal top hanging rod with a series of eight S-hooks. The turned baluster detailings and finials give the piece a subtle neoclassical element, while the open glass shelves and open framework rails keep the piece airy and light grounded by the white Parian marble base. The bronze has an attractive aged patina with light oxidation from age. The versatile piece is functional as a baker's rack, bar shelf, tabletop organizer, or bar display stand.
