Mid-century modern pair of round back rattan armchairs with matching ottomans or footstools made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire artisans. The chairs feature a barrel back form constructed from bent pole rattan lashed together with leather rawhide strapping. The chairs are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The rattan has a desirable aged and faded patina on the finish. The chairs and ottomans are newly upholstered and the seat has a fitted loose seat cushion in a textured beige fabric. The arms on the chairs measure 24.75 inches high. Sold as a pair with two ottomans. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. Each chair has McGuire makers plaques on bottoms.
