Oversized organic modern lounge chair designed by Elinor McGuire in the California coastal style. The chair features a large horseshoe shaped round back with a thick pole rattan frame. The frame is lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The frame has a dramatic black lacquer finish and is topped with thick, plush seat cushions in a neutral sand or oatmeal color. The chair is sturdy and solid with a desirable patina on the leather laces as seen in photos. From a grand Napa Valley, California estate. Makers plaque on bottom of seat.
