Regal pair of Italian Regency console mirrors or overmantle mirrors crafted in the neoclassical taste. The mid-century mirrors feature a Greek key motif frame border with a cream-painted ground. The top of the mirror has a relief resin plaque depicting Greco-Roman classical figures with an aged patina and craquelure. Constructed to mount onto a console table having an unframed bottom panel. The mirrors are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The painted frame and relief plaques have an intentionally faded patina to mimic age. Sold as a pair. From an estate in Beverly Hills, California.
