Amazing one-off monumental oval dining table crafted in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire artisans. The bespoke table was custom ordered with an octagonal shaped star base to accommodate 8 to 10 diners. The table is constructed with an iron base painted golden gate orange for authenticity. The iron is bundle wrapped with pole bamboo and lashed together with leather rawhide laces. The tops of the legs have optional patinated brass cap finials. The bottom of each leg has a height adjustable foot. The table is topped with a thick McGuire elongated oval glass pane with a wide beveled edge. The table is very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The base without glass measures nearly 80 inches long and the table is 9 ft. with glass top. The base is designed from an elongated version of a smaller table design. The monumental scale showcases the airy geometric design and profile. The geometric design while touching on modernism is grounded in natural elements. Custom-made for a palatial estate in the Napa Valley, California.
