Mid-Century Harvey Probber Burger Bun Pink Velvet Settee

Fantastic Mid-Century Modern settee designed by Italian architect Adriano Piazzesi for Harvey Probber, Inc. Burger bun is a whimsical kidney shaped form design settee crafted from a steel frame molded with polyurethane foam. The pink velvet style fabric cover features a unique belt design that cinches in the middle giving the settee a waisted form and buckling at the back. Designed to be easily transformed by interchanging with additional slipcovers. The original upholstery while faded is still presentable and gives the settee amazing character and charm of a pink cloud. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
