Serene Japanese Showa period two-panel folding byobu screen depicting a large spring blossoming prunus tree or plum tree. Beautifully painted with ink and natural color pigments on mulberry paper and subtle gold flecks signed by artist Ganko and sealed Yutaka. Visible losses and old repairs but shows well on a large scale. Set in a black lacquered wood frame with etched brass borders.
