A handsome large Country French Provincial farmhouse trestle dining table crafted from solid oak and measuring over 8 feet long. The table features a substantial 2" thick solid plank top constructed from rich oak planks inlaid with wooden blocks in a meticulously crafted geometric parquetry pattern with a banded border. The apron is fitted with a single drawer fitted with its original brass pull. The top features large breadboard ends on each side of the table. The top is supported by a trestle base with four boldly turned baluster legs rising from large turned bun feet, transitioning through ringed collar details to square corner blocks. The legs are connected by a H-stretcher with visible exposed wood peg joinery throughout. The radiant oak woodgrains are featured throughout the table with a darkly stained finish highlighting the oak figuring. The table is crafted in a rustic French Provincial country farmhouse style, and is well suited for a variety of classical, country, and contemporary spaces. The table is sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The oak has a desirable aged patina on the authentic finish. Ample leg clearance measuring 23.5" inches from the floor to the apron.
