Cast Iron Double Sided Watchmaker Jeweler Trade Sign Mirror

$2,800.00

Early 20th century gilded cast iron trade sign repurposed into a beveled mirror. Originally the double sided sign housed a clock. The sign reads watches, clocks, and jewelry around the border of a large oversized pocket watch form. The folk art display sign was hung from the top loop of the watch so it could be seen from two sides. Very heavy and solid with a beautifully gilded finish that has a rich, aged patina. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
