Amazing folk art military radio trunk with a painted bust of an native American Indian by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). WWI era canvas covered trunk used to store radio parts made by Tophams, Inc for the U.S. military in Washington D.C. The trunk is fitted with brass lock plates and hardware. The top is decorated with an native American Indian face and signed by Ira on the left with a fictitious date 1805. Used as a prop in his art gallery. Painted in the late 20th century for a showing of his native American Indian artworks.
