Pair of McGuire Campaign Style Oak Directors Chairs

Rare pair of campaign style folding directors chairs made by McGuire. The chairs feature an oak frame instead of the more common rattan pole construction McGuire is known for. The oak frames are fitted with festive paprika color velvet slings. The round flat arms are reinforced with leather rawhide laces as are the bottom stretchers. The frame showcases the rich oak woodgrains with a dark finish. This is the only oak McGuire chairs we have seen in this style in 20 years that we have worked with McGuire Furniture. In exceptional condition given age and use from an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. McGuire plaques and bespoke original order tags on bottoms of chairs.

Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery given age, use, and style. Minor aged patina on velvet fabric but still presentable as seen in photos. Age appropriate wear and fading with minor chips and scratches.
