Sally Sirkin J. Robert Scott Travertine Snail Console Table
$5,800.00
Opulent lacquered console table featuring an Italian travertine inset designed by Sally Sirkin Lewis for her J. Robert Scott collection. Known as the snail console constructed from beechwood with an ivory/cream toned matte finish and a slightly darker glazed finish on the swirl trim border. The serpentine apron is decorated with two volute snail medallions in the center. The tapered legs end with carved scrolling feet. Made in the Art Deco taste with a Regency influence. Signed plaque J. Robert Scott on bottom. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA. The finish appears to be intentionally aged with minor fading and small scuffs to finish. Very heavy and solid with a distinctive profile. Natural finish to the stone top with minor voids.
