Imposing grand 19th century mahogany sideboard buffet cabinet crafted in the neoclassical Louis Philippe taste. The cabinet features a thick, solid mahogany case showcasing radiant mahogany woodgrains with a rich, dark polished finish. The case is topped with a massive 1.25 inch thick slab of marble with an ogee top edge in variegated grey and white tones. The case is fronted by three large doors with polished bronze borders having a rippled design. Each door has a patinated brass escutcheon and lockplates with keys. The case is very heavy and solid constructed from 1.5-2 inch thick slabs of wood. The massive cabinet is beautifully crafted with extraordinary craftsmanship on a monumental scale measuring over 8 feet long. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA. The cabinet could also serve as a credenza.
