Distinctive pair of matching Chinese export garden drum stools or drinks tables made in the Qing style. Beautifully crafted from rich, dark rosewood with a drum, or tabouret form. The open lattice design showcases the curvilinear frame work with a faux-rope or rattan motif lashed together with faux-ties. The barrel shaped stools are very heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The seams and joints on the stool are remarkably tight. Very good, well preserved condition.
